What it means
It confirms the number and the status of the route on which you are travelling.
What you must do
Make sure that the route you are travelling on is the route you want to take to reach your destination.
Where you see it
On numbered metropolitan, regional, provincial and national routes.

It confirms two things: the route number and the route status.
The marker is used on four kinds of numbered routes:
- GE12 and TGE12: numbered metropolitan routes
- GE13 and TGE13: numbered regional routes
- GE14 and TGE14: numbered provincial routes
- GE15 and TGE15: numbered national routes
