What it means
The road or a part of the road is set aside for goods vehicles with a GVM or GCM exceeding (more than) the mass indicated. The mass is indicated in tonnes by a number on the sign.
What you must do
The driver of such a goods vehicle must use only that road or part of the road. Keep your motor car off it.
Where you see it
At the beginning of any road or part of a road.

Goods vehicles heavier than the number on the sign belong here.
GVM is Gross Vehicle Mass. GCM is Gross Combination Mass.
