What it means

A railway crossing with one track is ahead.

What you must do

Slow down. If a train is approaching the crossing, stop.

Where you see it

On any road close to a railway line.

Remember

No stop line or stop sign? Stop no closer than 3m from the nearest track.

If there is no stop line or stop sign at the crossing:

  • stop no closer than 3m from the nearest track
  • do not stop on the track or in the railway reserve (the railway's strip of land)
