Road marking symbols

Road marking symbols: what it means

Sign GM6.1, GM6.2, GM6.3

What it means

These symbols are additional markings, used together with standard signs and markings. They tell you that an area is reserved for a specific group, or that a road leads to a specific destination.

What you must do

Do not use a road, or a marked part of a road, if you are not part of the group the marking identifies.

Where you see it

On any road, such as at a cycle lane, on a road that leads to an airport, or at a parking bay reserved for the handicapped only.

Remember

If the symbol is not for your group, that part of the road is not for you.
