Roundabout

Roundabout: what it means

Sign R137, TR137

What it means

You must move in a clockwise direction at the junction. Clockwise is the way the hands of a clock turn.

What you must do

Yield (give way) to vehicles within the roundabout that are close enough to cause a danger or potential danger. Then proceed clockwise if it is safe to do so.

Where you see it

On any road where multiple roads intersect.

Remember

Roundabout: go clockwise, and only when it is safe.

The Yield at traffic circle sign is a different sign. It has its own entry.
