What it means

Traffic could merge (join your road) from the side at a sharp angle.

What you must do

Pass the intersection at a safe speed. Look out for merging traffic that might not yield (give way).

This sign comes in two versions. One warns of traffic merging from the left and the other of traffic merging from the right. Look at the sign in front of you to see which side it is.
