What it means
It shows the numbers of the routes leading from this intersection. It also shows the destinations that can be reached from this intersection.
What you must do
Slow down and make sure you take the correct route. Also look out for other traffic at the intersection that might not yield (give way).

On the far left-hand corner of an intersection.
