What it means
A stop line shows where you must bring your vehicle to a standstill (a complete stop).
What you must do
Bring your vehicle to a standstill at the line.
Where you see it
On any road, especially at intersections and pedestrian crossings.
Remember
A stop line with no stop sign still means stop.
If there is no stop sign, the stop line has the same meaning as a stop sign.
